Tutoring for the STAR test
The STAR test has moved to a whole new level of importance in some schools. Not only is it used to determine the overall performance of schools, but the individual results are being used to place students in honors vs regular classes in some schools. This means parents who know their kids would thrive in an honors class environment must make sure their children do well on these standardized tests. In some schools, the STAR test takes precedence over grades in classes!

This means that parents are often asking about tutoring for the STAR test. Our tutors are able to give students the practice they need to raise their scores on the test. There are guide books at book stores that students can work through on their own for more practice. Talking to your child's teacher can also reveal even more sources of help.

The testing age is still in full force, and students in school will need to get on board if they are going to be placed in the classes that suit them. If your child scores poorly on tests but does well in school, it may make sense to get your child some help--either with tutoring or through other resources.
