Taking a Real Spring Break
For some students, spring break will mean scrambling for a strategy to catch up and save a grade. For others, it will bring a much needed rest from the hard work of the semester. Students who carry heavy loads of AP and honors classes along with a packed slate of after school activities may be tempted to use the break to get ahead, complete more projects, or pack in yet more activities.

Students in this position may want to think about backing off a bit and taking a break, even if it is for a few days. Refreshing and recharging the batteries during the break will help recharge the batteries so that there is a reserve to draw on in the coming weeks.

So, if you are carrying a 4.0+ GPA, and you are the captain of the swim team, and the leader of the debate team and the lead in the school play, use Spring Break for what it was intended: a break!
