Summer weather makes way for summer tutoring

This summer heat reminds me that summer break is not too far away. Although students need their break to play, swim, sleep in and laze around the house, they also will have lots of time to keep their learning momentum going over the summer. With no attention to school subjects over the summer, students can "lose" months of learning when their minds go on autopilot over the summer. Of course, this doesn't mean they should spend 6 hours a day in a classroom over the summer, nor does it mean that a student should grind through boring rote exercises.

Instead, consider a modest summer tutoring program targeted at your child's need areas. Perhaps your son can use this time to catch up with one of our math tutors, or your daughter can strengthen her writing skills with a tutor. Or, your child can spend an hour or two per week on all around tutoring, staying sharp with math, reading and writing games designed to be fun and productive at the same time.

An hour or two a week is all it takes. Our tutors can even leave short, fun assignments for your child to complete in between sessions if you like. We are flexible, and we design the curriculum around your needs--everything is custom.
