Primary Grades Tutor
We offer help with math, reading, and writing skills for students in grades K-5.
We can offer a wide variety of tutor backgrounds, depending on the type of support the child needs and according to parent requests. We have credentialed teachers, child psychologists and therapists and special education specialists on our tutoring team.
Primary Grades Reading Tutor
Our tutors can help beginning readers with early reading skills as well as intermediate and advanced readers in later grade levels. We have experienced tutors who can help diagnose reading problems and come up with strategies to solve them. We work with the school’s curriculum, reinforcing the concepts and strategies that are learned in the classroom and allowing for more practice so that the student can master the curriculum more quickly.
Primary Grades Writing Tutor
Our tutors help students develop their writing skills using effective one-on-one techniques. We can work with the school writing curriculum, and supplement it with our own materials when necessary. The goal is always to move the student ahead, and our tutors are experts at helping students develop their writing.
Primary Grades Math Tutor
Our math tutors can help students memorize their math facts, master word problems, and overcome any other obstacles they may face in math. Math anxiety or fear of math is another issue that our tutors can help resolve.
