How to gain control of a tough subject
When students are struggling with a subject, it is sometimes hard to imagine a time when the student will be in complete control of the subject. By taking it one session at a time, a tutor can help students incrementally move towards total control, which in the end can result in As, more confidence, and a deep understanding of the subject area.

That is what happened when a Harker student started working with one of our Spanish tutors back in 2007. She was struggling mightily with the subject, despite being a top student in other classes. Our tutor began working with her, and almost immediately, she started to improve. Here is what the parent had to say recently about the tutoring support:
