Summer Tutoring Program

Our Summer Tutoring Program can help your child:

• Catch Up! If your child has fallen behind or gotten a poor grade in school, one of our tutors can help him or her catch up over the summer.
• Move Ahead! If you would like your child to get enrichment, learn something new, or take a subject beyond what has been covered in school.
• Get Ready! If your child is taking a difficult class, or transitioning to 6th or 9th grade, we can help you make sure he or she is prepared.
• Prepare for a Test! Summer is a great time to get a jump on SAT/ACT and HSPT/SSAT test preparation.
• Use It So They Don't Lose It! Studies show and experts agree that students "lose" a significant portion of their learning over the summer. Our engaging tutors can help keep their brain active and make it fun at the same time!
• Meet a Requirement If your child's school has recommended or required summer school, our tutoring can serve as summer school support. We can design a program that meets the school's requirements, including pre- and post testing.

How it Works

We listen to you and your child, and develop an individualized tutoring plan for the summer. Our tutor then follows the plan, adjusting it along the way depending on how well your child is progressing. Our tutors can assess your child's progress informally along the way, or we can give your child a pretest and a post test to show the progress that was made over the course of the summer. Each child has different needs, and we specialize in taking the time to understand your child's needs and deliver the exact support he or she needs.
